On Tuesday, September 3 there will be a virtual gathering of the Working Group from 5:00- 6:30 pm EST. 

We will start with a general meet and greet before the main order of business: the sharing of a template letter of advocacy for popular, social, and vernacular practice in higher education that various members of the Working Group have been collaborating on for the last several years. We hope to generate some specific feedback on the letter and drum up support, ideas, and action roles pertaining to the next phase of our collaborative advocacy project, a tool kit for popular dance practitioners working in academic settings.
